Meeting Schedule and Agendas
The Board convenes quarterly for its regular meetings. The meetings start at 8:00 a.m.

The Board's two Investigative Panels meet the day before the regular Board meetings to discuss confidential investigatory records - which occur in closed Executive Sessions pursuant to NDCC 43-17.1-08. Investigative Panel A meets at 2:30 p.m. and Investigative Panel B meets at 5:00 p.m.
The Board has the following standing committees that meet throughout the year:
- Laws, Rules, and Legislative Committee - responsible for researching and reviewing the Board's laws and rules for any proposed updates and modifications. Also review bills affecting the Board of Medicine during Legislative Session.
- PHP Committee - responsible for collaborating with the NDPHP to ensure proper communication and implementation of appropriate policies and procedures.
- Finance Committee - responsible for reviewing the Board's finances, creating a proposed yearly budget, and reviewing the Board's annual audit.
- IT Committee - responsible for researching and proposing any changes to the Board's IT platforms including security updates.
- Genetic Counselor Advisory Committee - responsible for reviewing and submitting recommendations for changes and updates to the laws and rules affecting genetic counselors in North Dakota.
Meeting Notice and Agendas
Agendas are published below and on the Secretary of State's website approximately one to two weeks prior to each regular meeting. The agenda will provide the location of the meeting, a Zoom link if the meeting is a virtual meeting, and topics that will be considered. International Medical Physicians Working Group
The NDBOM has convened a working group to review potential alternative licensure pathways of IMPs. The working group will convene with the following schedule:
- September 17, 2025: NDBOM Introductions and Orientation
- November 19, 2025: Input from the FSMB on other state implementation of alternative pathways to licensure
- UPDATED February 11, 2026: hearing from the IMPs, State Refugee Coordinators, and Department of Commerce. Impacts of such a pathway? What you wish we knew and how we can help!
- March 18, 2026: hearing from North Dakota health care facilities. Are you interested in this pathway and have the resources to implement? What could this look like and how can we help!
- May 20, 2026: hearing from UND School of Medicine/ Residency Coordinators/NDMA. Thoughts on developing tools, resources, programs, or other aids to implement?
- July 15, 2026: wrap up – final thoughts.
- September 16, 2026: if needed – additional meeting.
