Laws and Rules
The laws regarding the practice, licensure, and discipline of physicians, residents, physician assistants, genetic counselors, and naturopathic doctors are found in various sections of the North Dakota Century Code and North Dakota Administrative Code.
The Board is not authorized to issue advisory or legal opinions to anyone, including practitioners or members of the public. It is therefore the responsibility of the practitioner to verify he/she is practicing within the scope of the law. For questions regarding practice, the practitioner should consult with a private attorney to receive such advisory and legal advice.
